On the bulk carrier M.V. Mineral Honshu, the crew applied nC Corrosion Passivator to the deck, hatch covers, coamings, welds, lower stools, and winches. The Corrosion Passivator helped save valuable crew time and reduced overall OPEX.

”nC Corrosion Passivator Primer 2-in-1 and nC Corrosion Passivator Primer WET- Very good marine anti-corrosion coating.
The product demonstrates outstanding penetration into porous rust layers and very good adhesion to both treated and slightly corroded surfaces. Easy to apply.
It stops rust effectively and gives a tough finish that lasts even in salty and humid conditions.
After about 1,5 month (Cargo Hold No.6 100% full with Ballast water – Voy.076 Yeosu, South Korea – San Nicolas, Peru) of exposure to seawater and varying humidity, there’s no rust breakthrough or peeling.
This kind of coating offers a reliable and efficient alternative to traditional multi-layer paints, with significant savings in surface preparation and application time.
Anti-corrosion coatings nC Corrosion Passivator Primer 2-in-1 & nC Corrosion Passivator. Primer WET provide good protection for ship, particularly in hard to access areas such as Ballast water tanks, voids and other confined spaces.
